Confidential Inquiries and Requests:
Welcome. The Family Matters Group of ICB Wayland provides a platform to receive confidential inquiries regarding matters of faith, family issues, or socio-emotional well-being. If you are experiencing family conflict, grief, loneliness, unemployment, or other loss, you may want to discuss this in confidence with someone you can trust. It is often helpful to speak to someone who shares your religious background and who can understand what you are experiencing. Having a confidential conversation with someone who is present to listen and be supportive can help you find a way forward.

Confidential inquiries will be received by Najiba Akbar, a member of the Wayland community. Najiba has a Masters in Social Work and a certification in Integral Life Coaching. She previously served as the Muslim Chaplain at Wellesley College. She is available to be your first point of contact in order to assess your needs and refer you to the best resources for your situation.
