Facilities

Public events will be announced to all members via email and will be posted on our website for all to attend. ICB facilities including the prayer hall, classrooms and kitchen are available for use at a nominal usage fee and subject to the rules and regulations provided below:

1. Public functions that are open to all members or guided tours of the facilities are free of charge. Public events are announced to all members via email and also posted on this website for all to attend.
2. The request form must be accompanied by full fee. The check may be made payable to the "Islamic Center of Boston". No request will be entertained without the required fee, if applicable and completed application.

Rules and Regulations for the Use of ICB Facilities:

1. All requests/reservations for use of ICB facilities must be made in advance and subject to approval by the ICB Board.
2. Enter the main building from the side (kitchen) door and then unlock the main building doors from the inside.
3. Turn on only those lights which are necessary for the function.
4. Use your own trash bags. The trash barrels provided by the center fit 35-gallon bags or larger.
5. All trash must be disposed off in the dumpster located on the north side the building.
6. Bring your own table covers, serving dishes and utensils
7. All individual dishes, cutlery and cups must be disposible, such as paper or plastic, in order to minimize
   dishwashing on site
8. No furniture or furnishings may be removed from the ICB Premises for any reason.
9. After use, the facilities must be returned to their original clean conditions. Use vacuum cleaner and air freshener, if necessary.
10. All furniture (tables, chairs, rugs etc.) must be returned to their original locations.
11. Switch off all lights, including the ones in the bathrooms, at the end of the function.
12. Check and secure all other doors and windows and leave from the side (kitchen) door locking it behind you.
13. Do not leave any food inside the building or in the refrigerator.
14. Music and singing is not permitted inside the buildings.
15. Solicitation, sales and distribution of any material is not permitted without prior permission.
